About 8 km to the Tomakomai-Higashi Interchange of the Hokkaido Expressway, the heart of Hokkaido’s transportation network. There are also three interchanges on the Hidaka Expressway within the Tomatoh Area, and with National Routes 36, 234, and 235 crossing through the area, Tomatoh serves as a gateway for distribution throughout Hokkaido.
The JR Freight Tomakomai Freight Station lies 9 km west of the Tomatoh Area, enabling nationwide rail freight.
